Throughout my career, I've immersed myself in the dynamic world of Graphic Design and Production, spanning every sector including Advertising, Marketing B2B, Publishing, Shopper Marketing,  Packaging, Web / App Design and Socials.

 

From traditional Print to cutting-edge Online Promos, Social Media, and CRM Campaigns, I've left my mark on every platform. Working with Agency giants AMV BBDO, BATES DORLAND, BBH, GREY, TBWA London, 141 World-wide, and PUBLICIS, I've assumed various roles including Illustrator, Retoucher, Artworker, Senior Designer Typographer and rose to Head of Creative with my own department at Publicis.

 

Deciding to specialise in Experiential Events GFX Design and Production with Digital Content and Motion Creation marked a pivotal shift in my career trajectory. In 2018, I co-founded DNAYS ltd with Miguel, embarking on a journey that has seen us collaborate with esteemed clients like SKY, BBC, RSC and RTP1 on Light Entertainment TV productions, as well as partnering with many industry leaders for some very large Conference and Esports events, Stadium shows, Google, IBM, Redbull amongst many others, Product launches for Channel & Nissan and Live concert Tours for Gary Numan and Holly Johnson. Oh and who could forget our BAFTA-nominated BBC Jubilee concert for Queen Elisabeth II?

Miguel Ribeiro
Technical Creative Director

Originally I trained as a Lighting Designer in Portugal and my journey in the UK has seen my expertise in lighting design expand across diverse realms, including Victorian Music Hall, Corporate Expos, Product Launches, Live Theatre and Music Tours.

 

Over time, my fascination with Video Content Creation intensified, leading me to assume the role of Head of the Digital Media Department at VLPS London, later PRG, where I eventually specialized as a Media Server Specialist. In 2011, I embarked on a freelance path as a Digital Content Creator and Video Systems Designer. Eventually founding Do Not Adjust Your Set with Paul.

 

My portfolio encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from captivating Light Entertainment Television productions such as Let's Dance, Children in Need and the Diamond Jubilee for the BBC, to dynamic Corporate projects, Private Events for the Likes of Cartier, Channel and Formula One, and Concert Tours for acclaimed artists like Depeche Mode, Holly Johnson, Robbie Williams and Gary Numan. I also anually orchestrate the content creation and show management for prestigious events like the Rewind Festivals.

 

I also specialise 3d modelling and UV mapping being able to setup a project from a scrible to the final 3d mapped and textured model.

I love Video Tracking Systems, as evidenced by notable projects like the Mexico Pan-American Games and Rising Star for Portuguese Network TVI.

 

Recent work includes project setup and operation for 108m LED walls (Formula 1 and Formula E after race concerts in Saudi Arabia), the Cartier showcase of their Islamic inspired jewellery collection at the Louvre in Abu Dhabi (project setup, modelling, UV mapping and show operation) and COP28 dubai, content management and live show operation.
